Opportunity Overview

We are in search of a highly qualified Systems Architecture Consultant with extensive experience in systems design and implementation. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients to ascertain their business needs, offering expert insights on system architecture and ensuring the effective deployment of intricate systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and design scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures tailored to client specifications.
  2. Produce comprehensive architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications.
  3. Ensure systems are engineered with a focus on high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
  4. Engage directly with clients to comprehend their business objectives, requirements, and challenges.
  5. Provide expert recommendations and guidance on system architecture solutions.
  6. Lead client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
  7. Act as the technical lead on projects, directing engineering teams through design and implementation phases.
  8. Uphold best practices in systems architecture, security, and compliance.
  9. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical personnel.
  10. Oversee the deployment and integration of system architecture solutions.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the implementation process.
  13. Stay informed on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  14. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements in systems architecture.
  15. Contribute to the development of internal tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
  16. Maintain thorough documentation for all systems architecture initiatives.
  17. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
  18. Ensure documentation is accessible and current for future reference.
Candidate Profile
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. Over 7 years of experience in systems architecture, engineering, or consulting roles.
  3. Strong expertise in designing and implementing complex systems architectures.
  4. Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
  5. Experience with virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.
  6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Experience working in diverse, cross-functional teams and managing client relationships.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $133,000 - $209,000, plus bonus opportunities.
