About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to lead our Clothing department at Kingsway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and coaching your team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
- Coach and develop your team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and colleagues to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage and maintain a high-performing team by setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback and coaching, and recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform sales strategies and improve customer engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- A proven track record of sales growth and customer service excellence in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- A passion for the retail industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
