Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at FedEx Supply Chain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and process inbound and outbound trailers/containers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Document and track all transactions using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with clerical and workflow staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of tasks.
  • Perform yard audits to reconcile current yard status with data in WMS, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Enforce safety policies and report any safety or security issues promptly to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions and multiple priorities.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
