Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at FedEx Supply Chain. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and process inbound and outbound trailers/containers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Document and track all transactions related to trailer/container movement, including Bills of Landing and trailer/container inspection sheets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drivers and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate and maintain the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of trailer/container movements.
  • Collaborate with clerical and workflow staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of operations.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including PPE, pedestrian traffic, and speed limits.
  • Identify and report safety and security issues promptly to ensure a secure working environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of transactions and multiple priorities.
  • Physical ability to sit, walk, and stand for up to 8 hours per day and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and visual acuity.
