About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Professional to join our team at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a Sr. Consultant, Compliance - Payment Credit and Prepaid Cards, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our bank's compliance with regulatory requirements is maintained at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the assessment of new products, services, and business initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide advice and guidance on mitigating controls to address regulatory risks.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate changing regulatory requirements to ensure timely and effective compliance.
  • Establish and maintain an effective regulatory compliance culture within the business.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, Canadian Retail Banking Compliance, to ensure that compliance risks are identified and mitigated.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in compliance risk management, regulatory compliance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance policies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
