About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Hi Five Chicken Maple Ridge. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Handling
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, ensuring a safe and clean working area.
  • Administrative Support
    • Assist with administrative tasks as required, supporting the kitchen team in their daily operations.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Will train on the job, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
  • Ability to work a 40-hour week, with flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen demands.
  • Proficiency in English language, with excellent communication skills.
