About the Role

FIBERCOMM COMMUNICATIONS LTD is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users, ensuring they have a seamless experience with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to users, resolving issues related to our products and services.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs to users, ensuring they have the necessary skills to effectively use our products and services.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor other technical support team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent support.
  • Business Systems Support: Provide support for our business systems, network, and Internet services, ensuring they are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up and maintain equipment for employee use, ensuring they have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Backup and Recovery Operations: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, ensuring our systems are secure and up-to-date.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring our users have a positive experience with our products and services.
Specialized Support
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to succeed.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in government or community programs that support youth employment, ensuring they have the necessary skills and training to succeed in their careers.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in government or community programs that support veterans, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to succeed.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to succeed.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in government or community programs that support visible minorities, ensuring they have access to the resources they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
