About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Expert Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofers with various tasks related to construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation
    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
    • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Task Execution
    • Assist in the execution of tasks such as leveling earth to fine grade specifications, paving and raking asphalt, and cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
    • Perform routine maintenance work as needed.
    • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Support Functions
    • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
    • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Team Player
    • Work collaboratively with our experienced roofers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Site Environment
    • Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
    • Work in underground environments as required.
    • Work in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Flexibility and reliability are essential.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience
    • Will train on the job.
