About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Expert Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced roofers with various tasks related to construction and roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation
    • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
    • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Task Execution
    • Assist experienced roofers with tasks such as leveling earth to fine grade specifications.
    • Pave and rake asphalt as needed.
    • Clean and pile salvaged materials.
    • Perform routine maintenance work.
    • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
    • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
    • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
    • Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
  • Teamwork and Safety
    • Work collaboratively with our experienced team to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
    • Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to company safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and reliability are essential.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Language and Work Environment
    • English is the primary language of communication.
    • Work will be performed outdoors, underground, and in noisy and dusty environments.
