About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder Assistant to join our team at SKYLINE WELDING & FABRICATION LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our experienced welders in the fabrication and assembly of metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Assist in the operation of metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Cleaning Solutions: Assist in immersing metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure a high-quality finish.
  • Material Sorting: Sort and organize metal sheets, parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Excess Metal Removal: Assist in grinding or chipping excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean and maintain machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading vehicles with metal products.
  • Polishing: Assist in polishing metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Work Orders: Assist in reading and interpreting work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, noisy environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn new skills.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
