Position Overview

GearCo Industrial Services Inc. is seeking a Skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in metal fabrication
Key Responsibilities
  • Establish reference points and patterns for fabrication
  • Assemble and fit metal plates and sections to create structures
  • Weld or bolt sections together to ensure structural integrity
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metalworking machinery
  • Develop patterns and templates for production
  • Install fabricated components into the final product
  • Manage the rigging, hoisting, and movement of materials within the worksite
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in the workplace is English.
