Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at 12128675 Canada Inc. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our convenience store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Direct and control daily store operations, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, and supervise staff, as well as conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities.
- Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Oversee store finances, including managing budgets, forecasting sales, and controlling expenses.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure store environment, including maintaining a clean and organized store, and adhering to company security policies.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or convenience store environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Language: English.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a rural area with a remote location. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and own transportation.
