About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machining Tool Operator to join our team at Archer Precision Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Operation: Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations, ensuring high precision and quality.
  • Quality Control: Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers.
  • Process Optimization: Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpieces into the solution to remove unwanted portions, improving overall manufacturing efficiency.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Programming and Control: Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Clean and maintain the work space, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
