Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer - Metal Fabrication to join our team at Weldwork Fabricators Ltd. o/a Weldwork Fabricators. As a Labourer - Metal Fabrication, you will be responsible for assisting structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators in the fabrication of metal products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal product surfaces.
  • Assist in the fabrication of metal products, including sorting metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Own transportation.
  • Own vehicle.
  • Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Safety glasses/goggles.
  • Gloves.
  • Hard hat.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. The Labourer - Metal Fabrication will be working in a dusty and noisy environment, at heights, and will be required to stand for extended periods.
