Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Weldwork Fabricators Ltd. o/a Weldwork Fabricators. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures to meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques as required.
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to fabricate metal components.
  • Construct patterns and templates to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring proper fit and finish.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
  • English language proficiency.
