Job Title: Metal Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Weldwork Fabricators Ltd. o/a Weldwork Fabricators.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for laying out reference points and patterns, planning the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently, and assembling and fitting plates and sections to form structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate cutting and assembly.
  • Plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
  • Assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, using welding or bolting techniques as required.
  • Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Construct patterns and templates to facilitate accurate cutting and assembly.
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.
  • Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
