Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sukhdev Restaurant Inc. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Food Service Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory to minimize waste.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
- Customer Service
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and have a positive dining experience.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit budgets and cost estimates for food and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Team Management
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that all food is presented in a clean and attractive manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Personal Qualities
- Efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication.
- Flexibility and ability to work well under pressure.
- Team player with initiative and a positive attitude.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be expected to maintain a high level of physical fitness due to the demands of the role.
