Job Summary

Tahini's is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer needs are met and exceeded, resulting in high customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that food is presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
Work Environment

Tahini's is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
