Category Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Category Manager to join our Customer Category Management Team, supporting one of our key customers as a Vendor Advisor. This role will be based in our Canadian Consumer Products Division, located in the Drew Road, Mississauga, ON office, and will report to the Sr Category Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute customer category strategies, focusing on assortment, pricing, and shelving.
- Provide proactive analysis and shopper insight-driven recommendations to drive business growth.
- Lead presentations on category business reviews, assortment & space optimization, promotion & pricing effectiveness, and trade efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in category management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in Sales, Finance, Marketing, or Business Management.
- 4+ years of customer/sales experience, including 2+ years in Category Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
