Job Title: Maintenance Worker, Building

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at Anderson Blake Security Inc.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Worker, Building will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and installations to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This includes working with minimal supervision, maintaining inventory of supplies, and assisting skilled tradespersons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Assist skilled tradespersons
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours per week
Work Environment:

The Maintenance Worker, Building will work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and will be required to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
