Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at The North West Company in Winnipeg, MB. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, labeling, and packaging
  • Maintain inventory control and manage stock levels
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and colleagues
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy Assistant certification or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of pharmacy software
