We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Clerical Assistant to join our team at Trillium Health Partners. As a key member of our outpatient oncology department, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Reception and Patient Services: Greet visitors, staff, and patients, directing them to the appropriate personnel or destination. Register patients, confirm demographic and insurance information, and explain hospital policies and procedures as needed.
- New Referrals and Information Management: Receive and log incoming referrals, review for completion, and follow up as required. Enter patient information and appointments into Epic, book appointments, and assist new patients with required questionnaires.
- Patient Administrative Services: Coordinate and manage patient information, facilitate communication, and ensure a smooth flow of information for effective patient care. Update patient demographics, collect information for registration and billing, and navigate patient and family questions and feedback.
- Clerical Administration and Operation: Create and manage physician bookings, order requisitions and maintain office supplies, process financial transactions, and attend unit huddles.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications, familiarity with Epic, customer service-oriented, strong time management and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
