Job Title: Medical Clinic Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Assistant to join our team at DERRY URGENT CARE CLINIC INC.

Job Summary:

The Medical Clinic Assistant will provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 to 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient care and administrative tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and inventory of medications and pharmaceutical products
  • Clean and maintain equipment, and record vital signs
  • Prepare solutions for specimen preservation and maintain supplies
  • Document patient rehabilitation progress and prepare collection areas for cleanliness
  • Process files and paperwork, and schedule appointments
  • Take patients' medical history and manage routine office functions
  • Organize and maintain inventory, and work in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent oral communication skills and reliability
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain attention to detail
