For over 40 years, Petland has been a leader in the retail pet industry, focusing on animal care through ongoing staff training programs, in-store animal care systems, and community service initiatives aimed at finding forever homes for homeless pets and reducing pet overpopulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service - ensure our customers receive exceptional service by being available and willing to ensure all guests leave our store wanting to return.
  • Animal Care - help us ensure our animals are happy and healthy, and find them suitable homes.
  • Presentation - assist the team in meeting all our customers' expectations in a clean and well-presented environment.
  • Sales Management - oversee sales, training, and store operations.
  • Team Support - demonstrate a willing attitude, always ready and excited to learn and help teammates.
  • Dedication - drive to make your store the best Pet Store.
  • Empathy - care about animals and our customers, always willing to do what it takes to ensure our pets and our customers' pets are happy and healthy.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of management experience (preferred)
  • Open schedule, and ability to work evenings and weekends
