Potential Courses to Teach:

  • Fundamentals and Challenges in Medical Imaging Technology
  • Techniques in Image Acquisition and Processing
  • Introduction to Musculoskeletal Radiography 1

Essential Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Radiography Technology
  • A degree in a related discipline is advantageous
  • At least 5 years of practical experience as a medical imaging technologist
  • Active membership with the Quebec Order of Technologists in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy

Assessment Requirements:

  • Proficiency examination with a minimum passing score of 70%, conditional hiring at 60%

Additional Considerations:

  • Strong teaching and communication abilities
  • Training in pedagogy is a plus
  • Experience in college-level teaching is beneficial
