Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified CEGEP teacher to join our team at Cégep Heritage College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching nursing education courses to students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and teaching materials
  • Supervise students in work sessions and provide guidance and support
  • Prepare and administer tests and evaluations to assess student progress
  • Conduct course and program evaluations to ensure high-quality education
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing education or a related field
  • 3-4 years of experience in teaching nursing education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Work Setting

The successful candidate will work in a university or college setting, teaching nursing education courses to students.

Target Audience

The target audience for this position is adolescents, adults, and college/university students.

Computer and Technology Knowledge

The successful candidate will have proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Teaching Format Experience

The successful candidate will have experience teaching in a lecture, classroom, and laboratory setting.

Personal Suitability

The successful candidate will possess excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, judgement, and the ability to work as a team player.
