Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Leader to join our team at Lush Cataraqui Centre. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and leading a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Customer Experience: Utilize sales data and customer feedback to inform coaching and feedback to the sales team, and make adjustments to the shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Customer Experience: Lead by example in delivering a world-class customer experience, including product demonstrations and consultations. Foster a culture of excellence in customer service, drive sales, and create a loyal customer base.
- Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values and articulate our position on key issues, including animal testing, sustainability, and social responsibility.
- Product Passion: Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge, and make informed product recommendations to customers.
Team Involvement:
- Development: Train and coach sales team members on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve their performance and drive sales.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging: Foster a sense of belonging by promoting teamwork, encouraging collaboration, and recognizing and valuing each employee's unique contributions.
Operational Excellence:
- Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage cash handling, including customer transactions, opening and closing the register, and reconciling cash drawers.
- Time and Attendance: Lead by example in terms of attendance and punctuality, and encourage the same from all employees.
- Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer's shopping experience and drive sales.
- Stock and Inventory: Train team members on inventory best practices and support management with inventory tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales, cash handling, and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models.
- Experience analyzing sales metrics.
- Experience working in skincare or cosmetics.
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
