Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Cleaning and Sanitation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
About the Job:
A typical day in this role may include: cleaning dishes, pots, glassware, and cutlery following established sanitation procedures, ensuring correct usage of chemicals in dish machine and pot-washing areas, cleaning the kitchen, including mopping the entire floor, assuming cleaning tasks as per site cleaning schedules, receiving, uncrating, and putting away supplier deliveries as required, alerting team leaders to problems and making recommendations about corrective action, and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum Grade 10 education, Smart Serve designation, and one year of experience in dining room service. You must also possess excellent customer service skills, a strong command of verbal and written English language, and the ability to work independently or as a member of a team. Additionally, all applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience
