We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Aviation Security Policy and Programs to join our team at The International Air Transport Association. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the aviation industry by developing and implementing effective security policies and programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and coordinate industry-led civil aviation security policy and programs to ensure international and domestic impact and influence.
- Manage and deliver analysis to assess the effectiveness of IATA policy and programs, and adjust as needed to meet emerging and anticipated future priorities.
- Provide expert security guidance to industry and government stakeholders on security policy issues at industry-sponsored conferences and meetings.
- Facilitate and maintain a network of partners to ensure current and consistent information and advocacy regarding IATA policies and activities and their impact on domestic and international air transport security operations.
- Provide leadership and management of analysis (written and oral) to different audiences.
- Documented working/operational knowledge of civil aviation regulatory and operational frameworks, airline and/or airport security operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to present publicly.
- Demonstrated skills to perform in a high-pressure, multicultural, and international environment.
- Successful completion of IATA or ICAO Aviation Security Courses, IATA SeMS Course, IATA or ICAO Security Audit, Inspection and/or Quality Control Courses.
- Excellent writing, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams skills.
