Physiotherapy Specialist

Job Summary:
Lifemark Health Group is seeking a skilled Physiotherapy Specialist to join our team at the Canada Games Centre in Halifax, NS. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, including strains, sprains, fractures, dislocations, muscle weakness, and limited range of motion.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Utilize electronic charting software to document treatment sessions and recommendations, ensuring accurate and timely communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with Kinesiologists and/or Physiotherapy Assistants to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- Work effectively with the inter-professional team at your clinic to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Supervise Physiotherapy students, as preferred, to support their professional development and growth.
- Communicate with external stakeholders and client referral sources to ensure effective patient care and coordination.
- Manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and responsibilities to meet patient needs and expectations.
