Physiotherapist - Medical/Surgical, Rehabilitation & Supportive Care Specialist

The Physiotherapist plays a vital role in our clinical team, collaborating with colleagues to determine team goals and objectives, participating in the evaluation of team effectiveness, solving problems, and sharing responsibilities. The Physiotherapist assesses diagnoses and treats patients in a tertiary care setting who present with actual or potential impairments, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. The Physiotherapist educates and communicates with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers regarding health promotion, physiotherapy treatment, and pain management. The Physiotherapist provides supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students, and supervision of physiotherapy assistants and aides.
About YouWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or an acceptable equivalent from a recognized school of Physiotherapy, current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapy, and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. The candidate should also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, and competencies in other languages, with French being an asset. Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
Hours- Long assignment, Part-time position; 67.5 hours bi-weekly
- Approximately a 12-month assignment
- This position works shifts over a 7-day per week schedule, including weekends & holidays
$42.89 Hourly
