About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at PT PROTECH TELECOM LTD. as a User Assistance Technician. As a Help Desk Professional, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users, ensuring they receive the best possible assistance with their computer-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Respond to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, providing timely and effective solutions to their problems.
  • Research and Implementation: Consult technical manuals, user guides, and other documents to research and implement solutions to complex technical issues.
  • User Training and Education: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to use our systems effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Documentation: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts, ensuring that knowledge is shared and best practices are followed.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Participate in the redesign of applications and other software, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Technical Operations: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring that all technical systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Equipment Setup and Maintenance: Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Backup and Recovery Operations: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations, ensuring that all critical systems are protected and can be restored in the event of a disaster.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Language: English (Work Language).
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
