About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Cha Baa Thai Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and ensure that all kitchen staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant in an urban area.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Work Conditions: This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to handle heavy loads.
