Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated security officer with MTSC clearance and OFA 2 certification to join our team for permanent shifts at a prominent site in the region.

Shift Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays from 10:15 PM to 6:15 AM

Compensation: $23/hour

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid BC Security License
  • Marine Transport Security Clearance
  • OFA 2 Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting exterior and interior patrols – on vessels and near aquatic environments
  • Managing access control
  • Performing lock-up duties
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to clients and the public
  • Proactively addressing and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate daily logs and incident reports
  • Effectively communicating issues or concerns to the Site Supervisor
  • Possessing a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
