General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Freehouse Collective. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for leading our public houses, cocktail taverns, and nightclubs in Vancouver and Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage operations with integrity and deliver exceptional customer service experiences.
- Ensure effective management of labour, COGS, and controllable budgets.
- Oversee all systems related to operations, including scheduling, payroll, POS systems, accounts payable, R&M, marketing, and more.
- Drive high-performing results in brand audits and service audits.
- Continuously improve the skills, knowledge, and morale of front-of-house staff.
- Hold the Kitchen Manager accountable for high standards in back-of-house staff.
- Ensure all employees are trained, motivated, and empowered.
- Communicate effectively with employees through regular 1-on-1s and documented performance reviews.
- Develop and execute new ideas and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
- Focus on product development, including food and beverage programs, fashion/style guides, music, sports, and overall room integrity.
- Lead regular culture-building initiatives, including selling and upselling.
- Attend industry events and maintain a strong presence in the community.
- Maintain a strong image and brand awareness.
