About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Banker 3 to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Wealth Management team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with high net worth clients, providing customized commercial lending solutions, and driving business development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with high net worth clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Commercial Lending: Provide expert advice on commercial lending solutions, including risk management, financial products, and services.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop strategies to attract and retain high net worth clients, and drive revenue growth.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage credit risk, and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client service and drive business results.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial lending or small business banking experience, with a strong network of high net worth clients.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and business development skills, with a strong understanding of commercial lending and risk management.
  • Education: University degree (BComm, MBA, CFA), with industry courses (e.g. CSC, PFP, CFP) an asset.
  • Language: Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
