As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist within the Registration Team at NBC, you will become an authority in the field of regulatory registrations. Leveraging your analytical skills and understanding of compliance requirements, you will contribute positively to the registration process for all employees with the relevant authorities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and assistance to stakeholders regarding regulatory registrations;
- Deliver advanced technical support, often of a regulatory nature, necessitating a deep understanding of securities;
- Serve as a registration authority for NBC Financial managers and staff, as well as for other support divisions such as compliance, human resources, and legal;
- Manage and coordinate special projects in response to needs and regulatory shifts;
- Interpret, communicate, and clarify CIRO regulations and policies related to registration;
- Identify challenges, engage with stakeholders, and propose effective solutions that align with the business objectives of the Bank and its subsidiaries while safeguarding their interests.
Your Team:
In the compliance sector, you will collaborate with a team of six colleagues and report to the Manager of the Registration Department. Our team is recognized for its expertise in regulatory registrations, its commitment to client and employee experience, and a vibrant, diverse work environment that fosters a positive and inclusive culture. Qualifications:
- Required educational background (Three-year professional college diploma or equivalent in a related field);
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting securities regulations;
- Familiarity with Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Office365 applications;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively guide and support internal partners.
