We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as the Managing Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

This role will be responsible for developing and executing the ED&I strategy, providing thought leadership, advice, and direction to advance CPP Investments' equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts. The successful candidate will partner with the Inclusion and Diversity Leadership Committee, Employee Resource Groups, and leaders across the organization to ensure all inclusion and diversity strategies, initiatives, and programs support and advance equity, diversity, and inclusion at CPP Investments.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives in the areas of ED&I, Accessibility, and Employment Equity. They will have demonstrated success in leading, influencing, and executing on significant multi-year strategic organizational change initiatives in global organizations. The candidate will also have successfully led and managed ED&I programs, steering teams, working groups, and employee resource groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the ED&I strategy, providing thought leadership, advice, and direction to advance CPP Investments' equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts.
  • Partner with the Inclusion and Diversity Leadership Committee, Employee Resource Groups, and leaders across the organization to ensure all inclusion and diversity strategies, initiatives, and programs support and advance equity, diversity, and inclusion at CPP Investments.
  • Lead the integration of ED&I into systems, processes, and long-range planning.
  • Develop and implement ED&I programs, steering teams, working groups, and employee resource groups.
  • Provide insight and guidance on ED&I based on best practice to support CPP Investments' global workforce.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in ED&I, Accessibility, and Employment Equity.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans and initiatives in the areas of ED&I, Accessibility, and Employment Equity.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, influencing, and executing on significant multi-year strategic organizational change initiatives in global organizations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
