Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Aramark. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, portioning meals, and serving our customers. You will work closely with your manager to learn on the job and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of food preparation and assist in preparing food items for the day.
  • Manage cash handling, debit transactions, and daily banking.
  • Implement inventory controls and order menu items from preferred suppliers.
  • Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
  • Maintain accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
  • Responsible for maintaining daily temperature logs.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete opening and closing station checklists.
  • Coordinate and assist in maintaining clean and sanitized workstations.
  • Cross-train in areas as needed.
  • Complete any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Aramark management team.

Requirements:

  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, interact with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals, and other at-risk conditions.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
