Overview:
As a vital member of the Finance Division, the Enterprise Risk and Sustainability Performance function plays a crucial role in effectively establishing and achieving our strategic goals while aligning with our mission to serve the community and the economy.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a permanent, full-time Analyst specializing in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Sustainability Performance within the Finance Division. This role reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management and Sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the Airport Authority's ERM and Sustainability Performance Program.
- Promote a risk-aware culture by facilitating discussions centered on risk and identifying strategic risks pertinent to current events.
- Liaise in the development of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report and engage in ESG audit processes while integrating new sustainability reporting practices.

ERM Program Implementation:
- Engage various departments to foster a risk-oriented mindset and support ongoing identification, evaluation, and reporting of strategic enterprise risks.
- Lead risk identification and assessment sessions across all organizational departments to monitor risks related to the strategic plan.

Innovative Solutions:
- Provide support in developing processes, procedures, guidelines, tools, templates, and training necessary for effective risk management across the enterprise.

Risk Culture Development:
- Drive the implementation of a robust risk culture by facilitating workshops, training sessions, and preparing essential materials and surveys to enhance risk awareness.

Reporting:
- Prepare and facilitate reporting to Senior and Executive Leadership teams and the Board of Directors.

Sustainability Performance:
- Coordinate the creation of the annual ESG Report and other sustainability-related reporting frameworks.
- Strengthen processes and controls over ESG data, identifying gaps in data processing and internal controls while adapting to changes in the reporting landscape.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of experience in business, risk, and sustainability roles, complemented by an undergraduate degree in commerce, business administration, economics, sustainability, policy administration, or a related field. A graduate degree is an asset but not required.
- Familiarity with Sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks, including IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards, TCFD, GRI, and COSO risk management standards.
- A Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation and/or Sustainability certification is advantageous.

- Ability to analyze macro-level external environments and their impact on business.
- Highly developed business writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude towards change.
