About the Role

The Demand Planner plays a crucial role in the demand management process at MAAX BATH. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will work closely with Marketing and Sales to prepare the monthly forecast per product/customer.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain an accurate rolling 18-month demand forecast, including updates in our SAP system.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and master planners to ensure accurate forecasts per product/customer through statistical forecasting and customer input.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze new product introductions, rationalization, promotions, and other events that impact demand.
  • Manage assumptions and events management documents and processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide corrective action recommendations based on forecasting metrics.
  • Monitor and maintain forecasting KPIs.
  • Participate in monthly Consensus/S&OP meetings to facilitate and reach a consensus forecast.
  • Support the Demand Planning Manager in monthly reviews with the marketing and sales team.
  • Contribute to annual budget planning.
  • Provide business support with various demand planning-related analysis.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration or operations management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in demand management or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English (written and spoken).
  • Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Aptitude for presenting information.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with SAP and BW.
