Occupational Therapist - Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and a passion for helping patients achieve their functional goals.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and occupational performance goals.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' abilities in areas such as daily living activities, work skills, and leisure pursuits.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in occupational therapy practice through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with The College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM).
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Recent and relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
