Your Role

As a Client Sales Executive at Brex, your primary objective will be to drive new revenue streams by leading strategic initiatives within our customer portfolio. You will manage and optimize a diverse range of over 200 client accounts, identifying and seizing opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and ensuring successful renewals. Your role extends beyond merely increasing credit card usage; you will play a crucial part in facilitating business growth through our comprehensive suite of software solutions, including Expense Management, Travel, and Billpay. Your expertise in client relationship management will be essential in ensuring client satisfaction, financial success, and growth, thereby contributing to Brex's ongoing success in a competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to drive new revenue growth by strategically increasing spending levels on the Brex Card among existing clients.
  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities through targeted outreach efforts.
  • Promote our innovative Spend Management software, including Expense Management, Billpay, and Travel solutions, to enhance our clients' financial operations.
  • Engage regularly with CFOs and finance leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to optimize their financial operations through our integrated solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aimed at improving the overall client experience, including enhancements in product features and implementation processes.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in sales roles within B2B SaaS or Payments sectors.
  • Skilled in crafting and executing strategic outreach plans, particularly for pipeline generation.
  • Proactive and results-oriented mindset, focused on achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently surpassing revenue goals and quotas.
  • Recognized for sustained high performance, consistently ranking among the top performers.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of credit card management, including limits, rewards, and underwriting.
  • Familiarity with software solutions, particularly in Expense Management, Travel, and Billpay.
  • Experience in executing successful upselling and cross-selling strategies.
  • Strong awareness of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Background in managing renewals, ensuring customer retention, and minimizing churn.

Compensation Overview

The anticipated On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position ranges from $146,400 CAD to $183,000 CAD. The starting salary will be influenced by various factors, including the candidate's location, skills, experience, market conditions, and internal pay equity. The OTE figure encompasses base salary and commissions, which are contingent on performance. Depending on the role, equity and other compensation forms may be included in the overall compensation package.
