About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Business Change to join our team at Loblaw Companies Ltd - Head Office. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and ensuring a seamless transition to new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement effective change strategies, ensuring a balanced approach between technical and people-oriented elements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to integrate change management activities into project plans, ensuring successful adoption and sustainability.
  • Co-create practical plans with learning and development and communications teams to enable successful change adoption and sustainability.
  • Work with HR business partners to define role and organizational structural changes, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Identify business readiness, commitment, risk, and resistance areas, developing plans to address and mitigate them.
  • Establish readiness and adoption metrics to measure progress and implement reinforcement methods as necessary.
  • Engage and coach sponsors and people leaders to empower and enable their team members through the change, fostering a test and learn mindset.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to foster co-creation and inclusivity, strengthening organizational change capability skillsets.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced environment, decisively multitasking to support a portfolio of change management initiatives.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of work experience in organizational change or related fields such as human resources or business project management.
  • University degree or post-secondary education in human resources or organizational development (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Ability to lead and support larger scale change efforts, successfully meeting timelines and objectives.
  • Ability to work at the strategic and tactical levels, making data-driven decisions and tackling problems.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinking capability, coupled with an enterprise mindset.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to learn and ramp up quickly.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with strong organizational/project management capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to influence others positively.
  • A good understanding of human resource functions, combined with a strong business sense.
  • Approaches work with a growth mindset, testing and learning along the way, and encourages others to do the same.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) is essential.
  • Exposure to organizational change or agile change practices in the retail industry is an asset.
  • French bilingualism (verbal and written) is advantageous.
