Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Port Alberni Holdings Ltd. dba Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring that our customers leave satisfied.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and physically demanding work.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.
