Job Overview

The Social Media Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role within the larger Social team, dedicated to leveraging social media platforms based on insightful data to achieve quantifiable outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong skill set that includes analytical thinking, numerical aptitude, innovative problem-solving, and meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Media Specialist and Supervisors in the execution and management of approved social media strategies.
  • Aid in the creation and organization of relevant data to support social media initiatives and recommendations.
  • Communicate with local clients regarding the tactical elements of social media strategies, facilitating information exchange and addressing inquiries.
  • Oversee contracts and insertion orders with media vendors, ensuring compliance with managed service agreements.
  • Responsible for entering social media purchases and reconciling discrepancies, including tracking actual media expenditures.
  • Assist in the billing process, particularly in automating procedures for platforms like Facebook.
  • Update and maintain blocking charts, budgets, and budget summaries as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the media research team and maintain daily communication with creative account team members as needed.
  • Refresh competitive media reports and provide technical support for presentation materials.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications.
  • Proven track record of success in academic and professional settings.
  • Strong quantitative abilities, including analytical skills and mathematical proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in technical tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within teams, managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
