About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Coordinator to join our team at Dragon Pearl Buffet. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to engage with our customers and promote our brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop and curate high-quality content for our social media channels, including text, images, and videos.
  • Community Engagement: Respond to customer inquiries and comments on our social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze our social media performance using various tools and metrics, and provide regular reports to our management team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing team to develop and implement social media campaigns that align with our overall marketing strategy.
  • Brand Management: Ensure that our social media presence is consistent with our brand voice and messaging.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of social media platforms, and experience with content creation and community engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Area of Specialization: Audio/audio-visual, Interactive/new media, Digital media.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Experience providing diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Experience providing cultural competency training and/or awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
