Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Attendant to join our team at Fired Up Grill Food and Drink. As a key member of our service staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service
    • Deliver clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas to ensure a seamless dining experience.
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Inventory and Stocking
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars with fresh ingredients and supplies, ensuring that our menu items are always available and of the highest quality.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with our kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless execution of our menu items and exceptional customer service.
    • Communicate effectively with our management team and other staff members to ensure that our guests' needs are met and exceeded.
    Requirements
    • Education and Experience
      • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
    • Physical Demands
      • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as required.
    • Personal Qualities
      • Client focus and efficient interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
      • Reliability and a team player attitude are also required.
    Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires a high level of energy and enthusiasm. You will be working in a physically demanding role that involves repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.

Language

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent position that requires a 40-hour workweek.
