Position Overview: As a Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will take charge of supply chain strategy within the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) framework, playing a pivotal role in optimizing Amazon's fulfillment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of supply and demand dynamics across the Amazon fulfillment network.
- Lead the development and execution of large-scale strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory management, transportation efficiency, and labor capacity.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and manage relationships with stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
- Communicate effectively with diverse teams, from warehouse personnel to senior management, ensuring alignment on business conditions and strategic decisions.
- Proactively identify challenges, analyze data, and collaborate with partner teams to deliver impactful results.
- Balance immediate operational needs with long-term strategic planning, making quick decisions based on available data.
Goals: The ultimate objective of this role is to determine innovative ways to enhance product fulfillment for customers, ensuring safety, speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in program or project management.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Proven ability to leverage data and metrics for continuous improvement.
- Experience in owning program strategy and delivering results to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in driving process enhancements.
- Master's degree or MBA in relevant fields such as business, operations, or organizational development.
