Your role will involve overseeing and facilitating the site Asset & Technology Leader in the comprehensive loss prevention of plant machinery and process technologies, as well as site facilities and buildings, to ensure the achievement of SQCDSM metrics. You will guarantee that services remain uninterrupted through full compliance with local legal regulations, quality standards, and health, safety, and environmental management systems.

Your Contributions

You will:

  • Manage the implementation of Building Maintenance initiatives, Facilities upkeep programs, capital expenditure management, operational expenditure oversight, technology and automation maintenance, asset and master data management, and service provider contracts while ensuring adherence to service level agreements and manufacturing standards.
  • Adopt IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 Sigma methodologies to achieve zero breakdowns through preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, enhancing the technical capabilities of maintenance and operations teams, and implementing visual controls and tools management.
  • Exemplify company values and principles through effective coaching, enhancing the skills of operating teams via targeted training on routine maintenance, equipment failures, and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to cultivate and sustain effective relationships, aligning priorities to fulfill company objectives.

Qualifications

A passion for advancing your career and the following experience and expertise:

  • Proficient knowledge and skills to independently maintain equipment in optimal condition, including executing autonomous maintenance and preventive maintenance standards.
  • Able to lead a team for the production line, qualify and mentor process owners, and drive common improvement areas using a PDCA approach.
  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP systems, along with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and strong collaboration and relationship management abilities.

Position Insights

This role is responsible for engaging in various initiatives and projects related to MRO for the Canadian Business Unit, including inventory optimization projects and coordination with the MRO team across multiple sites. You will lead inventory optimization initiatives and work on reliability and sustainability improvement tasks.

Additional Skills

Cross-functional collaboration, effective governance capabilities, project management expertise, and engineering knowledge for reliability enhancements.

Educational Background

Preferably an engineering graduate with a solid understanding of SAP.

Job Requirements

Knowledge of manufacturing plant operations, engineering skills for improving equipment reliability, and familiarity with SAP and CMMS for MRO.

Travel Requirements

This position may require visits to various plants as necessary, while the primary work location will be at the designated plant.

Work Schedule

Day shift. No relocation support is available.
